Swim Lessons for Youth, Teens & Adults

Swim lessons not only keep kids and adults safe in the water, they also build self-esteem and confidence!

Our lessons are typically 30-45 minutes each and are offered one to four times a week, depending on the session.

The Princeton YMCA Pirates Swim Team is a COED team that competes against other YMCA teams or local swim clubs. Our goal is to foster a joy for competitive swimming as well as develop technique and conditioning.

School’s Out, But The Y Is Always In!

When school is out or closed for holiday breaks, we have you covered with full-day care in a safe, supervised environment where kids can have fun while school is out of session.

Our vacation child care program is offered for children in grades K-6 from 8 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. daily. Care is offered according to the school calendar, excluding holidays.

TRADITIONAL MULTI-ACTIVITY DAY CAMP

  • Traditional day camp is for campers entering grades 1-7 in September
  • Princeton YMCA’s popular, traditional multi-activity outdoor camp offers a broad array of activities that engage and entertain campers, including theme days.

    About Princeton YMCA

    Princeton YMCA is a branch of Greater Somerset County YMCA and is located on Paul Robeson Place in Princeton, NJ. Our members enjoy a 4-lane indoor lap pool, fitness center, a full-size gymnasium, and group exercise studios offering a wide variety of fitness classes for every age and ability. Princeton YMCA offers youth sports programs, babysitting services, teen programming, offsite school age child care as well as engaging enrichment classes for children, including swim lessons, and a vibrant summer camp program. Outside, Princeton YMCA features an outdoor athletic field space that is open to the entire community during daylight hours, a public playground, a basketball court, and a volunteer-led seasonal outdoor community Giving Garden. Our facility’s main floor, including the gymnasium, natatorium, and locker rooms, is fully accessible.
